We would like to take this opportunity to explain how billing and filing of claims will be processed for your surgery. If you have insurance, your claim will be filed by our office. If you do no t have insurance, YOU will need to make the appropriate payment, deposit, and payment arrangements with one of our Financial Counselors. This payment or deposit must be made two (2) days prior to the surgery date - if not, your surgery will be rescheduled.
You will receive at least three (3) billing statements. One from the physician/surgeon; one from the surgery facility; and one from Associated Anesthesiologists, Inc. You will possibly receive statements from Midwest Pathology (if a specimen is taken), Cardiology of Tulsa (if an EKG is required), and Radiology of Tulsa (if a chest x-ray is required). All of these charges will be filed with your insurance. You will continue to receive billing statements until the insurance company and your patient responsibility, if any, is paid. Please call our Business Office if you have any questions at 492-5140 and ask for extensions 108, 109, 110, 111, or 159.
